Roof rats are the number one pest call on the South Coast. Our mild winters, mature trees, ivy, and tile roofs give them everything they need, and once they find a way into an attic or crawlspace they come back every season.
We do more than set traps. Every rodent job starts with a full inspection of the roofline, vents, crawlspace, and garage so we can find how they are getting in and close it.
Signs you have a problem
- Scratching or scurrying in the attic or walls after dark
- Droppings in the garage, pantry, or under sinks
- Gnawed fruit on citrus and avocado trees
- Greasy rub marks along baseboards or rafters
- Pets fixated on a wall, ceiling, or appliance
How we handle it
- Inspect the whole structure and identify entry points
- Trap and remove the active population (no poison in living spaces)
- Seal gaps with rodent-proof materials: vents, pipe chases, roof returns, garage seals
- Follow-up visits until activity stops, with optional attic sanitation
Common questions
Do you use poison bait?
Not inside homes. We rely on trapping and exclusion first. Exterior bait stations are only used when they make sense for the property and are always tamper-resistant.
How long does it take to get rid of rats?
Most homes are quiet within two to three weeks once entry points are sealed. Heavy infestations can take a little longer, and we keep coming back until it is done.
